The band, Rekoncyle, was formed back in 2009. Over time, they composed their first album and released it in 2012. Their lead singer, Matt LeFait, got busy promoting the band and its mission. The effort has paid off with an invite to Soulfest 2013. With this, the band has accomplished two of their goals mentioned on our interview: Acquiring a working Visa and will be performing in the USA. … Oh wait, did we mention these musicians are from Canada?
These talented musicians put their complete trust in God. Throughout the process of working with Matt and putting the interview together, we managed to capture one genuine group of dedicated individuals. These guys are real, with Andrew Fowler the bass guitarist as the band’s general jokester and Kevin Munn the lead guitarist not to far from him, the band must be having fun all the time. “The Man” Andrew Bradley, the drummer, is also in charge of social media. Finally, we have Amy Munn, the background vocalist, who was frequently caught in the middle the band’s antics during the interview. Mix them all together and we have the unique voice of Rekoncyle.
Later in 2012, Rekoncyle uploaded the band’s first music video featuring their popular song, “Running Out Of Air”, which has aired on many radio stations. We decided to ask them what the meaning was behind the song. They replied … ??
