Looking Behind The Song (SJD): Infected – 12 Stones

This world is infected! 12 Stones brings out a powerful surge in their song. As Christians we should be, “sick” of living in this world “infected“.

Our world is filled with fakes and phonies. People are brainwashed into thinking that Hollywood is reality. “Infected” is calling Christians to stand up for how life is supposed to be lived. Time is running out. This world is covered with a haze, blinding those who don’t seek the truth. They need to hear what the cure is.

Jesus is the only cure to this infection! We shouldn’t tolerate being surrounded by this world’s infectious disease. It’s time to burn through the haze, like the sunlight burning through a morning smog in California. 12 Stones is trying to say that we need to wake up and quit wallowing in the fog. We need to stand up for Christ and let His blood flow, purifying the curruption and shaking the numbness back to life.

2 Corinthians 4:4 “The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” ~NIV~

2 Peter 1:3-4 “His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by His Own glory and goodness. 4 Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.” ~NIV~

1 John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.” ~NIV~
