Looking Behind The Song: The 6th Day – Flame

Christian Rapper, Flame, brings us his third album, “The 6th“, which is available now. Flame’s lyrics proclaim God’s name in all his songs. If you are looking for something new and refreshing, we encourage you to watch/listen to “The 6th Day” below.

Some people, when they hear the word “rap”, won’t even give it a chance. The world has used this platform to express its twisted ways. Flame is one of the many Christian Rappers, who clearly rap their lyrics for God’s glory.

This song, “The 6th Day” talks about when God created man, breathing in him the breath of life. We were made in His image and likeness. Flame is asking us examine our heart to see who or what we are really living for.

“We were made to know You,
Meant to behold You
And to praise Your Holy Name.
It’s the reason we were made

What a good day”

We were given the choice: to live for our Creator or to live for ourselves. Living for God is what we were made for. When we choose to receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we become God’s children. Our lives were made to praise His Name!

Genesis 1:26-28 “God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.27So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.28And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.” ~AMP~

John 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” ~NKJV~
