Looking Behind The Song: Need – Kutless

Are you amped? Cause we are! Releasing their seventh studio album, Kutless brings us, “Believer“. Is it Rock? Is it Worship? Well, you’re just going to have to purchase the album for yourself to find out. Their album will be released February 28, 2012. Until then, here is their new song, “Need“.

When we feel lost and the pains of this world are trying to bring us down, God is waiting with open arms. We need to call out to Him in our hour of need. He has the answer that will bring us out of the storm.

When we try to figure it out on our own, we just make the mess even bigger. “It’s like standing on sand and swimming in doubt.” With self, there is no solid ground beneath us. With God, we have a sure foundation to help us stand strong. When our lives get shaken and we feel like throwing in the towel, the Rock of our Salvation will be all we “Need“.

Matthew 7:24-7 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.” ~NIV~

Hebrews 4:16 “Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” ~NIV~

2 Samuel 22: 47  “The Lord lives; blessed be my Rock, and exalted be God, the Rock of my Salvation.” ~AMP~
