Looking Behind The Song (Featuring NRE): All He Says I Am – Cody Carnes

It is time to welcome a brand new face! Meet Cody Carnes, a singer/songwriter from Dallas, Texas. He is passionate, talented, and anointed. Although he is unsigned, his new song, “All He Says I Am” has reached and touched thousands—get ready!

Have you ever felt worthless, abandoned, or unloved? Ever felt as though you could never be the person God has called you to be? “All He Says I Am” shows you a different story. God says we’re fearless, we’re free, and we’re His! No longer are we in the bondage of this world, but we are free to live for Him. It is all summed up in the bridge, which says, “I am loved. I am new again. I am free. I’m no slave to sin.” No matter what lies the Devil tries to tell us to tear us down and make us shy away from our God-given purpose, God will whisper in our ear and tell us that WE are loved, new again, and free!

1 Peter 2:9 “But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for He called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light.”-(NLT)

Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong. Take courage. Don’t be intimidated. Don’t give them a second thought because God, your God, is striding ahead of you. He’s right there with you. He won’t let you down; he won’t leave you.”-(MSG)

2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”-(NIV)

SJD Adds:

We sometimes think too little of ourselves. He created us in His image and His likeness. We are all that God says we are. We are His children, called with a purpose. God has broken off our chains and has set us free.

Ephesians 1:4-5 “For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will”-(NIV)

2 Corinthians 5:21 “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”-(NIV)
